About us- Mound science offers a scientific approach to learning the art of pitching with 21 years of pitching experience. We specialize in perfecting the mechanics of pitching in order to reduce the opportunity for injury and maximize the ability of each individual pitcher. Pete McKendrick is the head of mound science and has been involved in pitching for 21 years. He spent 15 years as a player. He pitched with or against over twenty professional players including Matt Morris of the St. Louis Cardinals and Jack Cust of the Oakland Athletics. Pete played for legendary pitching coach Dennis Morgan who has produced over 50 professional pitchers in his 40 year coaching career. Pete most recently was the assistant/pitching coach of St. Joseph Academy in St. Augustine, FL.
